So, I have a really old iPod that's still covered under a service plan until June, and I was hoping someone could let me know the best way to "break" it to be able to get a new one for free. Are there any loopholes in the best buy service plans? They won't just give me a new one if I walk in there and it's not broken, right?

Wirelessly posted via wap.offtopic.com (sprint moguLOL: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 6.12) Sprint:pPC6800)

make sure it's a replacement plan for an equivalent product, which i'm pretty sure it is, then take a small flathead screwdriver (like mad small) and fuck up the headphone port with it

you'll likely only get one channel of sound and some static after doing this, then you're ready to take it back to BB :bigthumb:

I ended up giving in and buying a 32 gig touch and giving my oldie to a family member. I'm actually posting this from it right now! Thanks for the response though.
