So what's a good build for a 'lite' gaming system. I guess enough to run BF2 *well* but not with everything turned up...ive got a tight budget...so...i wanna hear your input. im not too up on technology these days, but im FAIRLY sure i can build the pc...although i dont want to.

AMD for budget. What exactly is your budget and what does that include? Just a box?

s939 3000+ (u can fo s754 but i dotn recommend it even on a budget)
6600GT (AGP or PCI-E depending on mobo, i recommend PCI-E)
DFI NF4 Ultra-D (again, u can go cheaper, but that jsut what i recommend for s939 rigs with PCI-E)
1-2GB OCZ kit (w/e u can afford, Gold, Platinum, Value, etc.)
Good brand PSU, probably at least 420w with god amps per rail
Any case u want, jsut make sure its shielded and sturdy
SCSI or RAID HDD (size dont matter, get what u need)
OS (Windows if u can afford, Linux or other free OS if not)

price - im not sure exactly, cuz thats very general. list what u can spend:) i think that rig there would be ~$800-$900 if u got all the good stuff, or if u cheaped on some of it closer to $600.
