    Hey all.. working on setting up my AV for the basement, and I can't find a DVD player that jumps out at me. Current gear;

    Sony KDF-50E2000 50" LCD Projection HDTV
    Sony STR-DE897 receiver
    Polk Monitor 20s
    Polk Monitor 40s
    Polk CSM center
    Polk PSW10
    Harmony 676 remote

    I have some other various equipment (kenwood cd, rca laser disc, audiosource EQ) that I'll use till I get in mind what I want for the audio side (cd player, etc), but I can't decide on a DVD player. I'd like to have good features, reliability, and a price of $150, $200 max. The reason the title says "budget" is I'm not looking for Blu-Ray or the $500-1000 HD DVD right now. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

    I love my Lite-On DVD+/-RW.

    I'd recommend it. I think it was only $110, at Costco.

    Costco? isn't that a membership club like Sams? Closest one is in Kansas City... about 2.5 hours away, and I'm not sure any of my friends are members.
