    I use Memorex usually, they've never given me a problem.

    I see memorex as a cheaper brand :sad2:, probably because of my bad experiences with their minidiscs

    best brand? whatever is on sale. for me they all work the same. i havent had a dud in ages unless it was my fault.

    Agreed, they're all pretty much the same, buy whatever's cheapest/on sale.

    The Only CD's I would avoid are the Spin-X, Sony's "no-name" brand.
    I had about a 5% fail rate with those.

    I have Memorex and Maxell and I like the Memorex CD-R's the best...

    Costco here doesn't have them that cheap anymore AFAIK. Cheapest place here now is BestBuy.

    those rebates where you buy the spindle for 39.99, and get a 50 dollar mail-in . its all the same except for one shitty brand,, i think it was fuji or some foriegn name

    to tell you the truth - whatever is the cheapest has worked jsut as well for me as any brand name

    now I only buy stuff that's completely free (usually after rebate)

    Anything that is relabelled Taiyo Yuden if I care about the integrity of the contents on the cd.

    or

    Anything that is nearly 100% rebate for some cheap cdr's for crap like games, movies, and music cd's.

    We dont get rebates and all that other crap here :confused:, we dont have a costco, bestbuy, no walmart.

    I'll have to check out if we have the equivalent.
