want to start reading some batman instead of just watching movies :mamoru:

so far ive been recommended the following:

    Batman: Year One
    Batman: The Dark Knight Returns
Batman: The Dark Knight Strikes Again
    Absolute Batman: Hush
    Batman: The Long Halloween
Batman: The Resurrection of Ra's Al Ghul

anything to add? which one should i get first?

As for the Long Halloween... Kick ass Batman comic.

Edit: And Hush rocked too, anything done with Jim Lee's simply awesome.

Thats the point of hardcovers. It's an entire arc in 1 book.

You used to be able to get The Killing joke in the Best of Alan Moore, (which is just a good book period) but they removed the Killing Joke and made it it's own book.

Despite the lack of love it receives, I am partial to Batman: Year Two myself. The Reaper > * imho.
