Who generally has the best ammo prices online?

    Of particular interest are .22, .223, 9mm, and .45

back in for bulk purchase of .223

Certain rifles are getting jealous of certain other rifles getting all the attention. Maybe Obama will end Iraq/Afganistan and surplus .223 will abound for all. ;) (of course, AK ammo will sky rocket in response)

Clinton banned US military from selling its surplus ammo to civilians. No cheap 5.56x45 after the war. :hs:

  9. Yeah, that's a bunch of shit. :greddy:

In a way, it can reduce cost though, all the ammo being produced for the war is taking up production time and resources at the ammo plants. Lower demand after the wars should exert downward pressure on prices.

wolf 9mm is such a fucking joke. misfires galore and the casings are so god damn rough that they jam during loading in an automatic

I don't think you can beat wwb at walmart for 9mm ammo... I haven't seen anything online that comes close to their 100 rounds for $19.xx...

wow ammunitiontogo.com has GREAT GREAT prices... even on the self defense rounds

ammunitiontogo has cheaper stuff. it's hella cheaper if you buy 500-1000 rnds

1000rnds of 9mm is $169.95 for Sellier and Bellot. I never shot that, but the metal is more desirable than that garbage wolf shit

Never heard of those... WWB = Winchester White Box (aka USA)... I only use quality USA made name brand stuff in my guns.... no wolf or other crap ammo...

IIRC, S&B brass is a bitch to reload for. As long as you aren't collecting your brass for reloading purposes it's fine.

Yeah I like winchester. It is decent target ammo. But, I'll take chaper stuff when I can find it.

I agree wolf is total shit ammo, but Ak's love that make. I also like Fiochi or however you spell. It's an italian ammo and pretty comparable to WWB.

I've also shot blazer and OMC. OMC(i think) is garbage. Blazer is so-so.

After thousands of rounds of winchester, I've never had a jam or mis-fire... I have more expensive defense rounds in the mags I have for self defense...

Are any of the cheaper cartridges any good for range duty?? I suppose a few mis-fires won't kill you at the shooting range... I would feel bad about putting really dirty ammo like wolf into one of my babies though...

i won't use wolf anymore in my semi-autos. the rough cartridges don't slide easily and sometimes jam. wolf also misfires like crazy for me.

maybe 1/150-200 WWB misfire in my 9mm. just another pull or two on the double action gets them to go off.

    fiocchi is good
    cci blazer is OK

don't be afraid to try anything at least once at the range. a misfire here and there is fine if the price is good.

but again, only the best for carrying like federal LE or gold dot speer
