I have the poineer AVIC-N1 in my dad's truck and I love it. I priced the alpine for my car and it's an extra $2000 canadian for the navigation plus the cost of the deck.
For navigation I'd get the pioneer. If it's not that big of a deal I'd get the IVA D300.

The Kenwood KNA-DV3100 is sweet...haven't played with the pioneer much, and the alpine can suck it. Even if you hook up to an Alpine touchscreen, you still have to use the damn remote for everything...=ghey

The kenwood is very user friendly and works great with any of their touch screens

my biggest problem is kenwood's touch screens are like 800 bucks. the pioneer can be had with screen/navi for around 1200.

Eclipse comander only if you like slow, expensive, text-only based navigation
