I'm in pa and I've carried to the bar when I've drank but I drive home so I don't drink that much. Do any of you carry to the bar or a place that serves?

I went to hershey park and I didn't carry either, left it in the car. Do you carry at parks?

This is a state by states question, I still refer the the florida code or the papers that came with my permit when I am going somewhere new or different and I always read up on the rules and laws of states I am going to be visiting. In FL you can have a beer at a restaurant, but you cannot carry in to an actual bar.

Anywhere you get patted down or metal detectors...I just try to avoid those places if at all possible.

I mean...ughh...in theory, I would....I follow all of my local laws

you can carry it into any of the places though and after all the "you can have one beer" talks I asked an officer last week and he said there's no law about how much you can drink or not but if you drink and carry make sure you're not an idiot and pulling it out playing around with it ect obviously.

I asked him about stores like Walmart since they're trying to say you can't carry but have no signs saying this, the employees will tell you... He said even if there is a sign posted it doesn't matter if you have a permit because the state law would over ride a store policy. The Permit entitles you to carry anywhere but fed buildings and for PA people in the city of Killadelphia.

these stores are on private property - if they ask you to leave because of your gun and you refuse, you can be arrested for trespassing - i still carry in these places because the worst they can do is ask you to leave or take your gun out to your car - but if you try refusing, you are trespassing on private property

I think the park is one of the places I'd want to carry the most.

The biggest problem I have is that I have to go into the post office almost every day for work. I drive there so that means I have to leave it in the car for a 30 second trip to check my PO box. I'm sure I "could" carry and it would be OK, but I don't want to screw with federal laws...

Other than that I'm pretty much OK. I almost never go into bars (WA law says anywhere you have to be 21 to go you can't carry, so restaurants that serve are OK, but bars are not). Parks are OK and I can even drop my kid off at school (again, I need to leave it in the car).

It's actually kind of surprising with all the hippie crap that goes on in my state, the CCW laws could be a lot worse.
