Hi Point 995 + ATI stock

Almost a perfect replica and just as good, if not better, of a rifle for about half the cost. I know it's a Hi Point but do some looking around on the internet before you completely dismiss it.

Seems like a pretty good deal.

They go new for a little less than 800.

16 mags is a lot.... I'd sell the M3 and red dot myself, and maybe some magazines to try and get an Aimpoint for it.

+1 to the Hi-point Carbine. They are actually a lot of fun, for little dough. Very ergonomic with the ATI.

**edit**, I'd actually try and see what kind of mags those are. Some of them look like offbrands, which might be junk.

Didn't catch the part about the 16 mags, if they are good mags that should be a hell of a deal then.

Sounds like a good deal to me. I shot one at trexpro a few years ago. It was a lot of fun. The trigger could be cleaned up some.

Can you get mags for the Hi Point with higher capacity than 10?

-1 to the Hi Point as a matter of principle.

Usually, I agree. But Hi-Point managed somehow to not fuck up the carbine model. It runs, and doesn't stop. It looks like dogshit with the factory stock, but is surprisingly comfortable. With the ATI stock it looks better, and retains the good ergos. Probably the only time either of those companies has produced a product that didn't majorly suck ass.

The mags are the only thing that holds it back. I've only seen 10 rd mags for it, which is :greddy:.

Obviously, the Storm is a much better build, and probably a better "carbine" overall. I would say, however, that the Hi-Point is probably 7/10's the Storm in performance, at a lot cheaper price.

I don't like Hi Point as a company. They make cheap, unreliable, disposable firearms - and they add a silver stripe down the side to attract a certain type of buyer. I wish we didn't sell them.

LOL, I have to agree. I've shot the Hi Point with the ATI stock, and the little thing just kept chugging along. Per the owner it's his ranch, plinking gun that he keeps strapped to his ATV. He doesn't clean it and just shoots the crap out of it.

I've recommend one before as a cheap fun little plinker that's cheap to feed.

I have someone now that's offering to trade me my Oly AR for a CX4, still pondering as I've never shot a CX4 before but it looks interesting. I'd definitely toss that sight.
