I've been wanting one too, and I don't really have a good reason for it.

    Plus it looks good.

And it would look better with nickel controls (instead of black) and nice wood stocks.

I like the 92 vertec, berettas have very smooth slides from the factory. It glides like ice. The trigger on the other hand sucks. The sights suck. Just the two most important things on the gun. Even with a trigger job it does not improve much, the front sight is retarded.

I have a 92 and like it. Never had a single problem with it. I'd love to find some nice wood grips for it since it's more of a safe queen than anything else. I rarely shoot it because it's a fairly uncommon model.

I really like my Inox 92FS. I put wood grips on it and I think it looks great. It's also really easy to shoot, I find I'm pretty accurate with it. My Inox is more of a safe queen, but I shoot my black version regularly.

Do any of the Beretta models come with dovetailed in sights?

I'm with Yar... The ones I've always seen have complete dogshit for sights.
