Anyone on off-t have any experiance w/ this specific benelli? No where around me sells them, so I'm trying desperatly to find real opinions on it.

As for the 11-87 .. it's a hell of a lot cheaper in price, but some say quality too. Some say you have to strip and clean it a lot for a semi-auto. I love my 870 so I'm partial, but I don't want to blindly be a Remington sack rider if there is a better semi out there.

If you can afford it go with the benelli, no question about it. Comparing it to an 11-87 is like comparing gold to aluminum.

Prepare to pay alot more. I went middle ground and got a franchi 912 for 619. Has a 3.5 inch chamber too.

Also Stoeger 2000 automatics use the same intertia system as benellis but are a hell of alot cheaper. Only downside is you cant get them in a 3.5" chamber.

yeah i'm not too worried about a 3.5" chamber, just something that won't jam up when I need it and isn't hard to disassemble and clean. thanks for the reply's.

I'd definately look at a Stoeger 2000 then, Dicks had them on special in Advantage Timber HD for $400 not too long ago. I wish they made them in left handed with a 3.5 chamber; guess I'll just have to keep dreaming about benellis :hs:

    heres stoegers website btw:

    I own a Benelli M3 Super 90, no complaints.

But then again, I haven't shot it yet!
