I have just started eating it in the morning along with scrambled eggs. Actually makes me feel full longer and gives me more energy than my previous breakfast of protein shake only.

it actually is pretty damn close to being considered a complete protein...but yeah, no one eats oatmeal for the protein, but it's a nice added benefit

I save the oats for a PWO shake...usually eat some egg whites and whole wheat bread for breakfast.

Oatmeal is the greatest shit ever. Complex carbs, barely any sugar, protects against heart disease and cholesterol (and we all eat a lot of eggs) (if you get the steal cut, plain, not the flavored, there's no sugar) Obviously it isn't stacked with protein, but just add some whey if you want the protein and you fucking have a great meal.

    Oatmeal as breakfast > *

    Or anytime, for that matter.
