Over the past few months, I've used flat, incline, and decline bench as my main movement for several ME days each. In terms of strength, I'm like 20-30 lbs stronger on flat than I am on incline, and about 20 lbs stronger on decline than I am on flat.

What does this signify in terms of chest, shoulder, and tricep strength? Are my tris doing most of the work, meaning my shoulders/chest are lagging?

    seems good to me.
the different between flat and incline for me is close to 100 lbs.

If your incline is that close to your flat, I would be looking at 1 of 2 things:

    1) Your triceps just don't have the strength to push more weight.
    2) You aren't using your lats on flat bench.

Also, saying that there is a 20lb difference means a whole lot more if your max is 135 as compared to 400+. What weight do you do on each?

lol....the most I've attempted to flat bench raw is 315x1 (never had a reason to attempt more weight)....my best incline is 275x1 and I definitely had more in me....

I don't use my lats...I've tried but just can't figure out how to fire them...triceps could be stronger though because I normally fail at the top of the lift when I'm benching raw....

He probably either is just not used to the movement, doesn't get a decent liftoff, or both.

Both my Incline and my Decline are the same in terms of weight. I switch every other week on DB's. One week I will hit flat first, incline second. Next week I do incline first, flat second. My first set will always be my strongest set, so I alternate to hit everything evenly.

Decline is 10lbs heavier than flat and incline. Perhaps due to less pressure on my shoulders, which seem to be giving me issues lately.
