so how much does it cost about to get your belly button pierced? and does it hurt bad?
Cost depends on where you live. Mine was $35 including starter jewelry. Nope, it didn't hurt too much. Read the stickys at the top of the page for good after care hints.
my bellybutton was the worst piercing I have. worst.
Really? Why is that? I've had many things pierced, and I think the absolute worst was the cartilage at the top of my ear.
I personally thought the belly button was the easiest one.
thanks...i just wanted an idea lol, thinkin about it...
Read the FAQ on top of the forum.
The bellybutton was my first piercing.
All piercings involve some pain, but it's never bad enough to not get a tattoo IMO.
It takes a while to heal the bellybutton area, so make sure you take good care of it if/when you get it.
I realize I am kind of bringing this back from a coma (hehe, the "dead" didn't seem appropriate), but I think part of it was that it was my first so I had NO idea what to expect. I had 5 holes in my ears at that time... but anyway, I never really THOUGHT to compare the two piercing sites.
I think it was the healing process that made it so terrible. It never could just "sit still" and not be jerked around. I got nipple done about 5 months later, and my tounge about 3 months after that and they were cake walks as far as pain and healing comparitively ...
Again, it might have been because as I said: wasn't sure what to expect with a first piercing. It took over a year for me to be able to wear whatever kind of jewelry I wanted in my belly too... kind of annoying.
Now though, two and a half years later, it's a-okay And this got ridiculously long. sorry ...
thanks for the advice...
Mine cost $45 in 2003, and I barely felt it. I have a good pain tolerance when it comes to piercings though. I felt it go through, but it wasnt a painful feeling. Took about 3 months til I changed the ring, 5 months until it was completely healed. Still got it now, still love it.
If you get this done, I will be the first to ask....pics?
yes if i get it i'll post some lol
my wifes ripped out a couple of weeks after but I don't think she did much aftercare, and it go infected too. It was a ring, and I think she should have tried some sort of curved barbell so to not catch it on things. Now she's got scar tissue there.... :-(
