Being sick sucks

    My girl got my sick over the weekend. I did my Monday routine and was supose to start again weds. (squatting) , I slept most of the day after I got outa class, tried to stand outa bed and fell down practically. Today headache, nose clogged, taste went away in the morning. So I slept after class again, tried to see if I could go workout now. Did about 10 body weight squatts, and got light headed. Back in bed now.

    I hate missing a workout. I might end up missing the whole week . :wtc:

    Just a part of lifting man. Take your multi and stay hydrated!

    Yeah, I had to miss 2 weeks recently. Messed up my whole training plan. Hope you get better man.

    Just convince yourself that your body needed a break and sleep and eat like a motherfucker.

    When I get sick I start bombing zinc and selenium. A friend turned me onto doing that and it shortens the life of my cold significantly.

    Been sick since Sunday. Haven't been able to lift anything. Just don't have the strength to do it at all. Just gotta take the week off, recover, and get back at it. Breaks are always good anyways and being sick is a valid excuse.

    Nothing worse than having a cold when its 90+ degrees outside :nuts:

    I just got over a pretty bad cold, I still did my cardio everyday, but I just couldn't lift.

    Well I decided I needed to work out today. And it was leg day :wtc:

    I took a gang of pills , some caf (2), some ephedrine, multi vit (2), dayquil (2) , fish oil (2), cee (2g's). I was locked and loaded.

    So I went into the gym hoping I wouldn't die . . .

    So I warm up leg ext and do my normal weight. So I start off light to warm up squatting 185. Well I hit all my reps no problem, it feels light like normal. So I keep going up, but I added in a bench when I started on 315.

    I did touch and go, box squatting 365x6, then went for 405 x 3 , sick sweating my nuts off. I finished my entire workout and hit almost all my normal numbers!!!

    FUCKK YA, take that cold!!!

    On a side note I feel like throwing up now.

    I think I've gotten sick sometime over the past couple of days as well.. I decided to take a week off from supps and lifting and just rest/relax..... shit sucks. day 2 and I already wanna go back
