I bought this thing last week, greatest moeny I've ever spent. But I think I've taken this hobby too far :o

You guys have seen some of these before, but I'm proud as shit of this thing :hs:

    Two are new however, enjoy!

Shot of new unit with flash...

and without, so show the light isn't that nasty yellow

Abe Sapien and Hellboy...full size animated statues. The abe is new, I've had the hellboy for awhile. I LOVE the look, they're designed by Sean "Cheeks" Galloway. He's got some kickass stuff on www.deviantart.com

bottom portion of the curio, very bottom shelf is going to have my big hardcovers and oversized hardcovers on bookends (as soon as i find some ones i like).

In the middle, my still favorite statue, Electric Tiki's Hellboy

Top Shelf - Marvel Characters (only chicks so far :o )

Emma Frost - Astonishing Version  I just got this today and I LOVE IT!

Probably the best emma statue ever (adam hughes emma is super-hot, but i don't think i'd want to display it)

It's not like this one screams subtle either :o

Shot with macro and flash (and boobies)

Full size shot, flash, shows great color...yada, yada, boobies

Marvel Character (in costume) are going on the top shelf and indie statues are going in the middle. I've been eyeing that shit out of that 15" Mark Grayson Invincible Statue, but I need some marvel badasses (specifically wolvie brown costume and captain america) statues to round out all the boobies on the top shelf. Bottom shelf is all variants, besides the hellboy animated would look silly next to big, mean hellboy on the second shelf.

I have a varant NYCC Rogue Statue coming next week...I'll post it up so I can whore out my statue curio some more :o

    THE END

Love the Hellboy on the third shelf.

My Diamond Select Astonishing Emma bust would go well in that case

it's like the sluttiest version of emma ever, it's hot...but i like the astonishing costume so much better.

hughes came out swinging with that first one, next one was mary jane. one of the guys here as that one. the blackcat was the thrid, it's nice but nothing special. rogue is next and i'm going to be all over that one. he's doing six total.

I was talking to you or Corz about having it on display. It's such a nice statue, but how the fuck do you explain it to friends who aren't into comics and shit. It's so :hsugh:

Emma's Astonishing design is the best... so much more classy :o

Nicely done. Hmm...now it makes me wonder if having the lights so close to the statues will eventually wear out the paint. Or am I being too paranoid?

there was a 4th shelf in the top peice, i took one out since i didn't want the statues so close to the lights. that thing is on maybe 3 hours a day, if i even remember to turn it on. the sun coming through the window 3 feet away from it will probably do more damage. statues near a window probaly are exposed to as much light as these. i'm not worried. you're just being paranoid, if i told you i didn't have my allen the alien art framed up in anything other then a 4mil mylar, you would have shit a brick and called me a savage :mamoru:

    yes :squintd:

they guy at the counter i had framing my piece started to take it out and my face was like :eek4: "what are you doing?" he told me they had a special overlay the art went into and i told him to get rid of that noise and frame it in the mylar.

Nicely done . I would've strangled him for manhandling the art in the first place.

I'm the one with the MJ statue.

I got a couple of new mini-busts from that Women of DC line. :o Starfire is like Donna Troy. She has problems tipping over. :mamoru: Surprisingly Starfire falls backwards instead of forwards.
