What creatine to buy? I've done my research and because it is a current issue I'm not sure what I've read is the most current.

Mono vs Ester? I've read the studies but the studies against ester but they might have been tainted by bias. Should I be safe and buy mono? I've been taking ester for the past 3 weeks (had some CE2 free from a friend who plays collegiate sports). I'm just worried about spending my limited amount of money on some snake's oil. What should I buy? Do brands matter?

Honestly creatine doesn't do shit for me. I tried a bunch of diff types about 5yrs ago when I started lifting. If you have limited money I'd say get some mrp/weight gainer protein shakes, a good multi vitamin, and a good amount of food.

Seeing that you didn't have success and the doubts about ester, I dropped a whopping $10 on 200 capsules of mono. If I don't see any results, I'm only out 10 bucks. :) I've already got enough protein to last me a while, plenty of food, and a good multi. I'm ready to get swoll :noes:

And fatdude, two pounds of what? I don't want any more shakes. Between the copious amount of water I consumed before and these shakes, I'm consantly peeing. :hsd:

OMGoodness. I just got it today. I thought 200 capsules was a good deal until I realized that they are only about 750 mg per capsule. Bottle recommendations are to take 24 PILLS each day for 5 days. After than, I'm supposed to take 12 per day. I think I'll be out in two weeks.

Good :noes:. I don't think I can handle taking down 30 pills a day.

I was trying to avoid powder because I drink too many fluids right now. Right now I have a big cup of iced mate (like green tea) next to my big protein shake. Guess when I run out I'll have a third pre-workout drink :eek4:

just mix the creatine powder into the shake you normally have. you don't need a separate one.

It's possible if the flavors are good together, my protein is chocolate, the creatine is fruit punch .. don't mix those, I tried once. Unflavored creatine would be best to mix shit with ...

yea i use unflavored. the only thing it could do is make your shake a bit grainy. but that's only if you use water/milk and whey. if you put a banana in, you can't tell.

yeah I remember my brother taking it when he was in high school and there was controversy around it. He is 27 now :coolugh:

While at walmart today buying some gloves I bought some of that unflavored powder for when I run out.

For me, CEE only works along with being properly hydrated, if all things are in check, I feel like my endurance is better, and I look a little fuller in the mirror, thats about it.
