I want this to stay simple, the printer that I can use for free sucks at preserving any level of detail. All of my brews are getting astronomy names.

Feel free to tell me if it looks terrible, what you'd do to change it, etc. Thanks. :)

Is this the label on the neck or the body? it looks a little thin if it's for the body :dunno:

not a fan of the "chill thoroughly" wording on the side. beer purist might say that ale can be drank a slightly below room temp :hsughno:

I'd move the date into the sun that way it stands out a little more and doesn't just blend in with the rest of the purple lettering.

Otherwise I can dig it :bigthumb: you ship to FL :x:

I'm using bottles that usually have 2 labels
    [IMG]

The "chill thoroughly" is used to drop most of the remaining yeast from suspension and clear the beer a little more.

I can't make the text any smaller and the date wouldn't fit in the sun. Do you have any other suggestions?

I've shipped it too. but I won't get my bottles back, and it's stressful to ship. Not to mention very expensive.

This batch isn't going to be particularly good. It'll be average, but the ingredients weren't as fresh as I'd have liked. I'm gonna make a Mack & Jack's style amber, but slightly different that should permanently bear this label.

I just cranked this label out so I can give my dad(who i don't like very much) something for father's day.

Every bottle that I give away, I have to replace. The whole purpose of making my own beer is so I don't have to drink someone else's, especially just to get bottles. It's tough to build a good stock pile of bottles, and since I haven't moved onto kegging yet, they're at a premium. I only have 3 batches worth of bottles, and when bottle something like my Porter, it's going to need to condition for a few months.

What's so special about this beer that you desperately need some? Like I said, this batch isn't even going to be that good.

It would probably look better if all the text wasnt centered.

its an improvement so far :)

Try making the bottle date label thing bout the same width as the text above it. May look nicer.

    Start over!

Not trying to be mean, but seriously, if it's worth doing... try spending a little time on it and create something unique that doesn't look elementary.

That's fine, but I don't really know where to go from here. I'm trying to keep it simple. What type of layout would you do?
