so after fiddling around with my stomach, I noticed that the "bulge" of my gut seems to be coming from behind the abdominal muscles. There is a decent amount of fat over the top of the muscles, no doubt, but the huge bulge seems to be internal.

Anyone care to enlighten me on this?

You don't just get fat on top of muscles.

    Did not know this.

I suppose regular workout and cardio is the most viable solution?

I'm pretty sure that's why fat ass people can't breath right. Fat all surrounding their lungs and shit.

Calories out > calories in will result in weight loss all over the body, including the stomach.

Exercise is good, but food is where you will see more dramatic results. Exercise can only burn so many calories of what you eat.

Are you sure that it's actually fat? If you have hunched shoulders and a kyphotic posture, there's a decent chance that it's your organs spilling out in your mid section because they don't have enough room in back.

You know what, my back does have a really noticeable arch. Is there anyway to confirm this?

give up booze for 6months to a year, work out atleast 3times a week and dont eat anymore than 1800-2000 calories a day (assuming you are between 5'8" and 6'2"...) and you will lose 20-30 lbs of fat. Worked for me and i didnt lose any muscle.

Stand up against a wall. If you have perfect posture your position should barely change, if you have an overly kyphotic posture, it should be obvious because your shoulders wont be against the wall. To be honest, I can just go ahead and tell you that you do have kyphotic posture like most lifters.

I suggest reading the Neanderthal No More series: http://www.tmuscle.com/free_online_...ormance_repair/neanderthal_no_more_part_i&cr=

And here's a good article about hip health and correcting anterior pelvic tilt: http://www.tmuscle.com/free_online_...e/hips_dont_lie_fixing_your_force_couples&cr=

what's there to confirm? arching your back rounds your stomach and straightening your lower back flattens it.
