I never had this problem on my old computer, but have seen it before. When I play a game like flash flash revolution and am holding/pressing 3 or 4 directional keys at the same time I get a beep from my tower.

Also, when I play Counter-strike and am holding say 2 keys (Duck, move forward) I cannot reload (r) without letting go of the duck or stopping to move.

Any ideas on how to remedy the problem?

    Thank You.

Does your sound work? If not, it will beep sometimes.

You may have better luck with another keyboard or more specifically, a USB keyboard. There's a flaw in the design of the PS/2 keyboards that only allows you to press x number of keys but the combination of keys for each model seems to be different. I would imagine (without testing of course) a USB keyboard wouldn't have this issue.

My sound works perfectly, this is the same keyboard that I used on my last computer w/o these problems.

But I think I may switch to a USB if that is what it costs to fix the problem.

You can always return the keyboard if it doesn't fix the problem :bigthumb:
