Anything that I must track down a read? Already planning on catching up on Walking Dead, Green Lantern, and Invincible. Not sure I want to get into another one of Marvels massive cross over cluster fucks but if it is good I might. Anything going on in the X-books worth checking out? Any new series that I should read? Is The Boys still a good book?

    Halp me find good stuff!

Last marvel event was secret invasion over a year ago. X-men have had 4 or 5 series wide crossovers since then. :mamoru:

Meh, only good book is x-factor anyway.

What about the whole Dark Reign thing? Or is that just an Avengers deal? Is it worth trying to get into? Mind you, I have not read any marvel book at all since Messiah Complex.

more of a status quo change then an actual event, norman osborn basically replaced tony stark. they're finishing up those stories with this new mini-event called Siege.

Read the 8 issues of Secret Invasion, Then just read the series Dark Avengers (and the 3 or 4 X-men issues that complete the Dark Avengers story) and you'll be all caught up with Marvel's main events.

    Nice.

What about the Blackest Night stuff? I stopped reading right at the end of the Sinestro Corps Wars. Is it worth it to catch up? Does anything happen out side of the regular GL books?

Oh course. But I am the kind of guy that hates waiting each week to read a new issue. I will usually wait until a storyline is complete and read it all in one big chunk.
