This was a shot for my gf in my condo parking lot .. turned into a 3 hour composite .. phfft

    edit :

Heres 1 of the orginal ..as you can tell the shot wasnt meant to be anything special .She was bitching at me to tke pics so i ran inside and grabbed my camera. Once I got inside i got a wild hair I guess and went crazy. The ground is from a shoot in Tampa and the BG is from SC at the track lol. SO ITS A HUGE MUT. This is also a screen shot from PS Zoom out at 33% So dont mind the quality. Thank you !

And exactly the kind of photo I would see in an advertisement. Looks great.

Yeah, it fucks with my eyes and doesn't look natural. I like the lighting on the car though.

I see three separate photos in that composition... the trees, the ground, the car.

    am I wrong?

that was my first impression too, but it works!

i'd just make the shadow a little softer and rounder around the edges.

i feel like the bricks in the road are normal sized bricks, and using that as a reference for the car, the car looks like a midget car.

yea because automotive companies dont hire photographers who specialize in car photography, instead they take a snap shot and compisite it with light that doesnt match the car?

I like it, I can tell alot of time and effort was put into it. Sucks when people don't appreciate time and effort spent for a picture.

I agree that it's a good job, but it's not really a photograph IMO when you have to do that much touching up in photoshop just to get that effect.

I mean sure, it's a nice high quality piece... something you'd expect to find in a magazine... but you can obviously tell there's been a lot of post processing done to it :dunno:

whether that's good or bad, that's for an individual to decide
