first amatuer mma fight. The guy im fighting was an ametuer boxer for awhile and he has 6 fights that were all wins. Ive been working on my stand up game for awhile now and I have a really good ground game. Im not going to reveal my strategy for the fight but I will post up a training video of me on thursday for you guys to give me some opinions. This is gonna be fun. Ive liked MMA for along time and ive been training for a long time so now its finally time for me to make my move. I already have another ametuer fight scheduled in July so I cant wait for that and I have another one scheduled in October thats in the works right now. My big plan is to get 5 mma wins before I start competing on the pro level so I can work out all the kinks in my game before I go out to the show and learn things the hard way.

Its been a hard road because I was supposed to have a ametuer kick boxing fight in February but I was taken out by heart surgery in january. Just wanted to let some of you guys on here like tigretek know who I talk to on and off about mma and some of the other guys that are into mma.

    Well wish me luck

Stick to your gameplan! You know what they say, don't box a boxer and don't wrestle a wrestler.

exactly, I feel good about this I think that everything is up to par in my game. Ive trained positional escapes so any position from them having their hooks in to me in their guard I know how to get out of. Ive been practicing submision escapes from all the common submissions. I think I can get a choke from any dominant position im in and Ive been working on my arm bars and kimoras. Ive relearned how to do all of my judo take downs so that I can do them with out a gi using greco roman clinches. Ive learned some other take downs Ive picked up along the way. My ground and Pound is vicious where before it was non existant and Ive taken my striking to a new level.

Im going to try and post a video of me sparring with this grappler I know from the gym. The guy was one of those guys that said that bjj is the end all martial art and hes a brown belt or some shit. Real cocky and said that BJJ is all he needs and doesnt need striking. The guy bassically doesnt understand the difference between grappeling for mma and grappeling for grappelers.

So today I gave him a taste of my anti jiu jitzu

Good luck! First fight jitters are always there, but try to relax and just fight your fight.

    GL dude.

I think that most people, the first time they step into the ring, have the biggest "what the fuck am I doing" feeling. Push through that and work your game. You will be fine.
