    YESSSS hahhaha i was sitting here at work, (i work at a gym) eating some beef jerky, and thought, this MUST be too good to be good for me, right?

    haha but now, i continue to munch! ^^*

    fuck, I really need to get one of those dehydrators and make it myself. If you do it with lean beef it's damn good, and you can make it without TONS of salt. Good protein, low calories for lean cuts... one of the best lo-cal high-protein snacks out there, along with fat free cheese sticks, etc.

    I could totally do it in my back room tho, and leave the screen door to vent, would be no issue at all.

    I love the stuff but it's soooooooooooooooooooooo expensive

    plus, the uber-high salt content!

    some one should send me jerky of other animals...(other than turkey and beef) sounds delish! venison jerky sounds fun and lean!

    they aren't too expensive, especially when compared to the price of jerky.

    and you get to play around with flavours and meats which can be fun

    i had venison spicy chili once, best thing i've ever tasted. although, i had been without food for two days before, oh well, hunger is the best spice.

    I had some yesterday. It was A1 flavored and it wasn't bad. I'd like to get a dehydrator machine and make my own as well.

    I still got 50+lbs of elk jerky I have to make. Just wish the ex didn't take my dehydrator
