i have a 97 saab 900 turbo with intake, boost controller, BOV and wastegat
stock boost is like 11~12 psi and im sitting at ~14.

tonight i just raced a 2005ish bmw 325ci from a roll. i hit fuel cut 3 times when i floored it in 3rd and had to back off the gas slightly to stop that, and i was up a few cars on him at 115mph

a few months ago i raced a similar 325ci from a stop and he had about 5 cars on me by 60 but once i hit third it was over, i passed him up at 100mph and by 115mph i had almost 2 cars on him

not bad for a $3500 car with 134,000 on it

I sure as hell hope that was on the highway. If you were driving that fast on local roads you deserve to get beaten to death.

  4. Maybe the 325 driver had a hard time handling his 184hp.

Upon review, it seems your Saab came from the factory with more power than the 325, and the saab weighs like 500lbs less than the 325.

Your modified turbo car can beat stock naturally aspirated vehicles?

    Bad.

i ran 15.4 @ 96mph like a year ago with a couple small boost leaks

its not like my mods did a whole lot to the car. im assuming the 325 should be running around the same times

I am not a tool. It's a legitimate concern. Fortunately, you were smart about it. I could care less about speeding on the highway, because you don't have people walking right next to (or across) the road on a highway. When people bomb down the road next to my house at 50mph, though, it makes me want to accidentally chuck rocks from my garden into the road as they go past.

    Carry on.

unfortunately, in the end, you're still driving a 97 saab 900... and considering my gf has one that she's desperately trying to get rid of because it's such a huge piece of shit, that's not really something to be proud of.
