So I've been monitoring my battery pretty closely after the update and determined that my battery life now really sucks (less than 3 hours with half brightness, wireless on). Not only that, it takes about 3-4 hours to get a full charge, even at 93% health with < 100 cycles.

Is this worthy of a battery replacement from Apple? Has anyone had success getting their battery replaced after the recent update?

You definately wouldn't get a new battery. 3-4 hours isn't excessively low depending on what you are doing with it.

Yeah, I've always gotten that amount of time since I've had my computer. I assume you turn BlueTooth off when using the battery?

my c2d macbook takes 2 hours to charge from being dead, i realize that you have a mbp. i bought my macbook in november, but the battery was replaced with a new one in december when i sent it in for a flicker pixel issue. i'm not sure why they replaced the battery...

you can see that the update actually increased my capacity slightly. you should call applecare, if you have it.

I think I'm going to give them a call -- I do have Applecare.

Just now, my battery charge time went from 15mins to 1:47, randomly.

My battery health has gone from 92% to 88% in just 7 days. I'm calling Apple Care tomorrow.
