    I've acquiesced myself a Canon s530...

My old Kodak had a dock and rechargable LIon batteries. I'm obviously not going to be pumping AA's into this like candy, so anyone have suggestions for good rechargables for it? Should I go w/ the Canon brand stuff?

I have some panasonics I used in my A70. They outlasted the camera, and I worked them hard.

What kind of life did you get out of them, i.e., did you have to change them often?

I have some rechargeable Duracell AA's in my A75 and they have never died on me once. The amount of time they outlast the normal AA batteries is just retarded. $15-$20 depending on where you go.

That might be worth looking into. The Canon 2500 mAh batteries and charger is like $32-40.
