Ok, so I was looking to get another battery or two and I was searching on E-bay. Some of them are really really cheap and claim to be the same as the other ones. The only difference (supposedly) is that theyre not brand name. So what is the deal...should I just spend more and get the original type?

, you can get 2 batteries for like 3 bucks, granted its 11 bucks shipping, but still 2 batteries for <15 bucks, there isn't a risk of short circuiting is there

I get my batteries from http://www.sterlingtek.com/baandch.html I got 2 NB-2LH's for $28.98 for my grip and charged them 2 weeks ago. I've taken maybe 200 pics and they still have a full charge. They are 1100mAh instead of the Canon's 750mAh.

Sterling and Lenmar are both good if you are going to use 3rd-party.
