gonna pick this game up... can't decide which platform to get it though
my PC is i7/GTX285.. from what i've read, plenty of horsepower to play this with full settings

    pros:
360 - potential to play this for "free" :o.. but i'll support kick-ass games
PS3 - joker on challenge maps, DLC
PC - physx support, higher resolution/better graphics, $10 cheaper than PS3

    cons:
360 - not as pretty as PC?
    PS3 - see above
PC - need to pick up a 360 wireless receiver

for once i would have to say PS3. i say ps3 instead of 360 cause of the DLC and plus there is no multiplayer so xbox live isnt a factor for this game

It looks gorgeous on PC. One of the only multi format titles to come out in while that didn't fuck over PC users in some way.

I'm running dedicated PhysX on my old 8800GT with graphics on the GTX 260.

Nvidia's new SLi drivers are so win.

i got stuttering with just a GTX 275 with physx turned on. I'm getting a new motherboard so i can drop in my old 8800gt :bigthumb:

Yeah I can't run any PhysX with just the 260 while keeping the graphics almost maxed out.

Strangely though, if I turn off PhysX and have both cards enabled in device manager I get about 50fps average. But when I have PhysX off and the 8800GT off too I get about 40fps average. I'm convinced that the two can do graphics together now even though Nvidia said they can't :o

probably about 5-8% slower. The 295 is a dual 275 gpu on one stick. :noes:

the DLC is the only reason i'm even considering this for console
so it's basically joker/DLC vs PC prettiness

I run Fallout 3 on 1600x1050 and my frames probably drop to about 20 at max press. This is with every setting on max with physx 16xAA/8xAS. 4 gigs of ram, E8500 (3.16 c2d) and Vista x64

Your 260 should have no problem with running physx.

    i use a GTX 275 FTW

    1920x1080, Max Settings, 4xAA

if i turn physx on my constant 60fps drops to about 40fps and it stutters a bit so i just leave it off.

I'd say that some titles aren't programmed to maximize physx but I just don't know enough about the hardware to make a quasi-serious suggestion. I just know that I leave mine on and everything I run on max runs great.

not having a controller isn't even a handicap. Mouse + Keyboard is the way to go.

    Depends on the game really.

Keyboard + Mouse fails on all things Final Fantasy (except XI and now XIV)

PC + 360 controller is the way to go. PC + KB/M is second best option.
