bass blockers

    do car audio bass blockers really work? they hook up to the regular speakers and i guess take out the bass so it al goes to the subs......just wanna make sure therye legit and everything before i buy 4

    yes they work but it wont effect your sub at all

    Not if you are refering to a single capacitor in series with your midrange speakers. If you get a small enough capacitor, it will work better, but with the ones designed to crossover at around 100hz, you will get a resonance formed between the inductance of the voice coil of the speaker and the capacitor. This unfortunatly leads to peaking in the response of the speaker, and even MORE bass than before in some cases.

    I do not reccomend them.
