So, I ended up making the basketball team for my school as starting small foward. Practice starts next month, and practice is pretty intense.

What do you guys think would be appropriate for me to work out throughout the season? Should I just follow a regular schedule or work certain parts more than others, since I play basketball everyday for 2-3 hrs?

I should also mention that I haven't been working out much as of late, but I've been eating healthy..not that it makes up for it but it's better than eating fatty etc :\

    I'm 6'0", 160

If your coach has any brains, you probably will be doing some form of lifting in season

We do lifting, but it's only for like 15-20 mins after school a day. I have a membership to a gym and I'd be able to lift on my own with some guys from the team.

i would say to just eat a lot, at least 3k cals per day, and lift, but make sure to not overtrain, nothing should be ridiculously sore.

basketball, your performance, and your teammates come first

    Our center's black, and he's 6'5" 200 I think
3k cals shouldn't be hard to do, I eat ~2000-2500 as of now. What body parts should be emphasized if any?
