Hey folks. I'm looking for a basic photo browser with which I can open a photo, view it, and press a direction arrow to view the next photo in the directory. Yes, the same as the Windows photo-viewing app.

Under Linux I used GQView. Is there a native OS X app? Don't tell me about the Preview drawer or 'Make Slideshow' because that is not what I want.

    Thanks.:x:

I don't like having to drag all the photos into the drawer. I want to be able to double-click on the first file in the directory and then browse through the rest.

    How about:

    01. select one photo
    02. Apple + A to select all
    03. right-click/Option-click
    04. Open all
    05. Profit?

sorry i don't have a better solution. :hs:

Sorry, that's not what I'm looking for. I know there are 'workarounds' but I really just want a simple elegant solution. :wtc:

    Open folder with photos
    Select All
    CTRL-Click and choose "Slideshow"

Click the thumbnail option or cycle through them individually.

Do you have some reason you don't want to use it? Because it's doing exactly what you asked for.
