They are from the HSV models... would have cost a fortune to transplant to a base omega

    Omega? It's not a commodore? Omega=vauxhall, no?

Omega is a Commodore model. Just like Oldsmobile had 88, 98, Royale and Regency models of one car. There used to be a time when US manufacturers made a vehicle in sporty, comfort and base trims. Aussie manufacturers still do that.

    Commodores have

Omega - base v6, no frills
Berlina - Upper level v6, some accessories
Calais - Luxury, both v6 and v8 models availble

    SV6 - sports model high output v6
    SS - v8 sports
    SS-V - v8 sports with luxury

than all the HSV trims, than all the ute and wagon lineup, and the stretched wheelbase models. Not to mention special editions.

you would have to either be black, or really want to be black to drive the purple one.

i don't have that real northern qlder nasal accent, thats like the equivalent of the Texan guys for americans. Not all of them talk like that.

Mine is mild by comparison, but australians tend to talk fast compared to americans, whenever i speak to americans it amazes me how slow alot of them speak, it takes ages to get basic meaning from sentences and stuff.

Nah, you see, it actually looks really good. It's just not manly enough for the children of the corn.

Don't worry, I'm sure it comes in black too.

    nevar

Holden can go on 8 cylinders firing.

Except none of mine have 8 cylinders :o

Did you see in the new Motor that both the FPV F6 and LS3 R8 sprinted to 100 in 5.1 seconds, but the Ford had a quicker quarter, with a 13.4 as opposed to a 13.5 in the Holden.

I could live with that to not have to drive a Ford :p

probationary driver. In australia (in most states) in your 1st years of driving you need a P plate to signify you're a noob pretty much. Green P Plate means 1st year of driving, there are restrictions on what P Plates are allowed to drive by law. This was brought in due to high incidents of young kids killing themselves (mostly due to the flood of cheap turbo imports from japan).

so do you take it on/off depending on who drives? Because I can't imagine most kids getting their own car when they just get their license.

I like how those cheap turbo imports are something to be feared, but they're cool with letting kids tool around with 300hp naturally-aspirated engines.
