too many chefs in the kitchen -- both are experienced fighters and both of their insight might be overwhelming, if not conflicting

You know something, I never really cared for him as a commentator. There, I said it.

I never really thought he was that good

his insight is pretty limited a far as i'm concerned, he always sits on the fence, only seems to pick up on standup and seems oblivious to groundwork and takedowns.

however he is quite infectious and funny and most of all he's comfortable in the role and lightens the mood of the broadcast from mauro who rabbits along at 1million miles an hour with his PR speak and strange strange accent.

bas is just a cool commentator... He doesn't bring much info to the table but that doesn't bother me... I observe stuff for myself.

I didn't like Trigg as a commentator. He's too softspoken and he points out things that weren't true.

Like when Gomi had Sakurai's back and was throwing punches to his head fom the top... Trigg : "Yeah, you know it looks like alot, but I GUARANTEE those aren't doing any damage at all." :ugh2:

10 seconds later Sakurai is knocked out.

Trigg was ok with his insight and explanations, but just wasn't very animated. On the other hand, Bas > Joe Rogan. Proven fighter beats fanboy any day of the week. This is also why I find Roy Jones or George Foreman far more insightful than Max Kellerman.
