I haven't yet seen the final auction results from sunday but there were a few big ones that come to mind, I just can't remember the exact numbers.

A 1938 Lincoln Zephyr was at the top saturday at $400,000. Followed by a few Mercedes SL's over $300g's. The biggest surprise was the 1967 Shelby GT-500 that went for $260,000. Up until then, the 427 Vettes and hemi Cuda/Charger were topping the muscle at just under $200g's. There was even a Z/28 that set a record with $113,000.

I probably have about a quarter of the auction recorded on avi. Definitely keeping the section on the Shelby.

You forgot to mention the 4 callaway's that went for a combined total of either $615,000 or $645,000. I can't remember which off hand. But the same gentleman bought them all.

Right. That C7R and Sledgehammer didn't go for as much as I thought they would.

Most of the race cars went for way less then there worth. Tim Allen bought that s/c'd 56 hemi powered F-100 for like 80g's. Dale juniors Nascar went for near the same.

Edit: $216,000 for the Callaway C7R.

The two I really wanted were the Sledge and the LM Speedster TT ZR-1.

The hot rods did well at the auction this year.
