I'm looking to pick up a barebones PC and unfortunately I got nothing laying around. What would be my best bet? Newegg, ebay, etc.?

I'm setting up a PC whose sole purpose will be to rip an audio stream 24/7 thats it.

there was a post in the main forum end of last week about a budget system. Like $400 that would probably fit the bill. Sorry, my subs expired or I'd search for it.

Newegg had some mobo/amd proc combos a couple weeks ago if you wanna build a relatively cheap system. Wouldn't take a whole lot for what you want to use it for.

This is one of those times where I would recommend getting a *gulp*... Dell or something.

Get the lowest priced box you can, and you'll have a pre-installed os,
    plus a warranty.

Tigerdirect.com had a $99 P4 system which would probably work well for what you need.
