"I believe in keeping guns out of our inner cities, and that our leaders must say so in the face of the gun manfuacturer's lobby. But I also believe that when a gangbanger shoots indiscriminately into a crowd because he feels someone disrespected him, we have a problem of morality. Not only do we need to punish that man for his crime, but we need to acknowledge that there's a hole in his heart, one that government programs alone may not be able to repair."

:ugh: And this is the fucking front runner for President? These two clowns actually make McCain look good, makes Bush look like a god.

btw-new owner of Glock23 last week :wiggle:. First gun, first wmd post.

Well, as long as we acknowledge that, it will fix the problem.

    Congrats on the Glock :)

As long as us in the rural areas can still keep em I dont care
Besides, from my experience most people from the inner city are nothing but retarded gangbangers anyway

Our rights are always taken one small step at a time. If you don't fight against rights being stripped when it doesn't apply to your situation, it'll only be a matter of time until the rights you hold dearest are on the chopping block, and the legal precedent and momentum will already be there to take them away.

correct me if im wrong, but hes saying that the problem lies in the person behind the gun, not the gun itself.

dont get me wrong. im pro 2A, but obama is also a constitutional lawyer who has stated that firearms are an individuals right, unlike other dems who state its a collective.

That must be why he wants to reinstate the AWB, even stricter this time, and include a Federal BAN on CCW altogether.

    Yeah, he's pro-2A. :ugh2:

i said I, MYSELF am 2A. not that he was. he's stated that guns are a INDIVIDUALS right, not a collective, which is a step up more than other dems.

Even so, if he feels its an INDIVIDUAL right, why is he pro-AWB and pro-CCW ban?

Depends, if they go for something like the old AWB then yes, if they go for the UK/Aus ban model, then no.

no doubt, all the candidates are all about bigger government, increased taxes, less rights etc. It's pretty bad when the most conservative candidate is Hillary Clinton :barf:
