    Hey guys...

I run my personal website on my computer (Windows XP), and I've noticed that some of my graphics have been linked to other sites and the like (used in forums such as this, for example)..

I need some kind of software (preferrably cheap or freeware, but. . I'm open) to monitor this. Anyway I can find out what sites are linking my graphics and the like? I'm sure I can find what IP it's being SENT to, but that won't help me much.

    Thanks for any help!!!!

You really can't do anything about this if you want to use the service yourself. You can rename the files, and you can also change the file to goat.ce (make sure you no longer need the pic!) to piss people off.

Thanks... Yeah, I was thinkin' probably not.. Thing is, I wonder how many of the instances I have NOT caught. I can always change the pic to something really nasty and x-rated, and I would for sure, but I'd like to know who all is linking.. hmm.

Anyone else out there? =) MAYBE there's something?

What web server are you using? If you were using Apache for Win32, I think there are some things you can do to limit the images from only being used on your page.

Actually, I'm just using the server that's included as a service in Windows XP Pro. I think you may have solved it.
I'll stop half-assing it with Windows and use a real server. =)

And... After checking YOUR site, I'm impressed and switching to apache. =)

I love your desktop... Very nice...

Does it include all that remote monitoring stuff?

Apache is a great web server, it is pretty much the norm for most sites. My site runs Apache on Debian GNU/Linux.

Thanks for the comment on the desktop. Those stats are made by a program called Coolmon.

Yeah I concur. I've never configured it, and as I understand... is and will be somewhat difficult for XP. I can get some experience though, but so far I haven't gotten it to work.

I'll have to check that program out. Thanks for your help Rob!
