im thinking of gettin a bandpass box for 2 12" impp's...i have an explorer sport an they are already really loud...but i wanna push it a little farther without getting a new amp (saving for a new setup) ...will the box make a diffrence or not?

im sure that my setup is sealed rite now...it's the way i bought it...i wouldn't mind havin a ported or vented one either..i just want the setup to be as loud as i can get it witout spendin more $$ on an amp or speakers...rite now they have about 800 watts

A bandpass enclosure would probably be louder than the sealed box, but only if it is designed specifically for those woofers. Meaning, that going to best buy and buying one of the boxes they have there is a :nono: You will most likely have to get a custom made box if you want to go the bandpass route, which can be rather expensive.

I would personally just wait and save up for better gear.

And, what amplifier do you have that puts out 800w?

Im sure he just means 800watts max, not rms(he probably read it off the top of the amp).
