i want to do this, but i should probably wait til after i've moved this weekend. i have a feeling that the g/f is going to want to get a bunch of new things for the new house and i'm going to have a hard time saying i don't want to spend the money if i've spent money on toys. :o

i have that item. Personally, I think it's too small. Either that, or my hands aren't nimble enough to use it. :o

I got one of these for my girlfriend a while back because she was so fond of the one I already had. I paid full price for it but it was still worth it. They were about $100 when I picked one up. The size is irrelevant as all you have to do is zoom in on whatever you're editing for finer detailing. The best feature tablets have to offer is the pressure sensitive control you get over your brushes when you're using programs like PS; it makes a huge difference and you'll never go back to using a mouse after using one.

I want one of these for this reason. i've never been very good at drawing with a mouse. My movements were always slow and uncoordinated.

Drawing with a mouse is terrible. If you do, or hope to do, any digital painting/drawing this is the perfect solution, it's even great for editing digital photos. $45 is a steal. They do take a bit of getting used to however, but once you've had some time to adjust to using it they're amazing. They also come with a number of programmable buttons on the tablet, pen and mouse (if it comes with one) that make it so easy to work with. I have a different model with a scroll wheel in the tablet; it's tits.
