ok, to make a long story short i bought some flaxseed oil to take as a supplement, however i cannot stand the taste/texture. if i bake it into something, will it lose its effectiveness?

i figure if i bake it into something i can get the benefits w/o having to taske a tablespoon of it orally

    Fish oil pills FTW.

I have some flaxseed waffles in my freezer, though. I think my mom bought them from Costco. :dunno:

Word to the wise, get some decent "healthy" syrup to go with em, they taste pretty bad, just like those flax muffins to....:barf:

if you really can't stand it, just chalk it up as a loss. but look into flax meal if you want to bake with it, or straight up pills

Heating flax oil destroys any medicinal benefits that it has, so you'd be left with something that tastes like ass, and doesn't do any good

Buy the seeds instead and grind them up when you're ready to take some.... doesn't taste as bad, won't go rancid, and contains fiber
