It was a last minute call from a friend to shoot her cousin. I've never done "glamor" shots before, so I didn't really have any idea on how to pose a "model", I just let her do whatever she wanted. I was at the site for the last 20 minutes that they were there. This was in an area of SF that's foggy nearly 75% of the time throughout the year.

I've shoot through umbrellas camera left and right with 430ex's with a 580ex master.

This is my fav shot out of the set:

Here's another pic, just cause :o

    The whole set: http://vinylwurkz.com/photos/

I'm a bit embarrassed to post the pics, but I want to learn :sadwavey:.

    edit:
Thanks to legendr34 cuz I forgot to wb

I was using a tripod. I should have busted out my handy grey card to meter the exposure :o.

Holy shit you're such a pimp .

I don't know why I overlooked that. I just thought it was a gloomy ass day, so that makes gloomy pics. But WB fixed it

She seems tense, or cold maybe. Shots have potential though.

She was pretty cold, since I did get there at the end of the day.

On a windy day, ask the model to put her hair into a pony tail or find some way to style it. The hair blowing in the face isn't attractive.

Thanks for the tip. I kept telling her that, but I guess it was just too windy.

i disagree....hair in the face can be very attractive.....its got to fit the scene though....I'd say it fits well....

my critique is her sandy feet; would have washed them off

I'm sure it's possible to get a mixture of both in the near future. The feet, I do agree... looks :hsugh:.

ive shot there and its almost always windy. not to mention sand blowing into my gear. since there's no sun and it looks like its about to rain, i would try to desaturate/sephia the pics.
