Does your BAH keep going when you PCS until you get to your next command, then it switches to the new BAH rate?

What I am being told by our disbursing, but it sounds weird, that you would get paid BAH "inbetween commands".... and I dont want to plan on having it if i am not.

He may want to take 30 days of leave in conjunction with his PCS. Come on LT, you're supposed to know this.

I'll be on 21 days of leave + 54 days of school. So while it wouldnt kill me, id rather live in my apartment while at school im in now (since school is in SD) than live in the barracks... which is only possible if i still get my BAH for those 75 days.

Navy used to have the DK rate whose sole job was dealing with the finances of sailors. Navy decided to merge 3 rates into one so now you have "personnel specialists" who fill the spot. So you can have someone who knows nothing about military financial stuff filling a billet to give out advice and information to people... :ugh2:
