Bad to drink after workout?

    Ist hrowing back a few drinks a few hours after my workout going to hinder any progress?

    ie.

    Beer
    Jack and Coke
    Carbonated/Caffine drinks

    I drink every day. If anything, working out hinders my drinking. Not the other way around.

    You should get as fucked up as possible BEFORE you get to the gym. Especially if you drive.

    Lets say its friday. I go to the gym, workout, then go off to the bar with friends. Was it even worth it for me to workout that day?

    A few drinks isn't going to hurt you as long as you aren't going out and getting plastered every night.

    i've really cut back on my drinking since i started working out :hs:

    i used to get wasted every night :o

    now i drink maybe 1-2 nights a week :wiggle:

    Drinking takes your body from being anabolic to being catabolic..

    In engrish, instead of making new muscle, or repairing the damaged muscle, your body will use muscle mass for fuel. true story.
    E or X has the same effect.
    Studies have shown AAS prevents this when you are drinking.
