I had a TERRIBLE lifting day today. I went in a few hours earlier than normal, but I made sure I ate a lot throughout the day. Anyway, last week I went in for my chest day and did the 100lb dumbbells for 4 sets of 6...not easily, but it wasn't an absolutely horrible struggle.

Well today, I go in and warmup with a lighter set..grab the 100s and do 1, 2...almost 3?!?! reps on set 1? :ugh:

    My left arm felt super-weak.

I tried again a few minutes later and it was basically the same thing. I ate well all weekend, I actually didn't drink for once, I got tons of sleep, etc.

What do you guys do to cope with terrible days? It actually has me mad :madfawk:

I for the most part leave my anger in the gym. Not gonna do you much good to think all day about what a shitty workout you just had.

    It happens to everyone
