Bad Attitude Gym squat vid

    Most of those squats were nowhere near parallel. They're much stronger than me, but that still doesn't mean that they were good lifts.

    it's kinda hard to get depth on the lighter weights

    yea they're strong. i just hate how the range of motion is like 3 inches.

    the most impressive squatting video i seen is the Romanian dudes sqatting 600lbs, ass to grass, with ease......not even using a wide ass stance. someone post that video

    Well, the shot from the front is possibly the worst angle to judge depth from. None of them squat high in meets, except for newbie nutswingers who disgrace the bad attitude shirts :(

    well... the front is the worst angle to judge depth from when its borderline, but a ton of those lifts were blatently high even from the front. And I know they arent high in meets, Ive seen their meet vids and what not. I'm just talking about this video

    yea im pretty sure. guys have a close ass stance, just drop down to the floor and pop up. and these guys were very lean and not that big at all. very cool

    Well he's from Bulgaria so his training system will consist mostly of the competition lifts and squats multiple times a day. Here is an example training week from the book Strength and Power in Sport


    Monday
    Morning
    Session 1
    Snatch — singles to 6 maximum efforts
    Rest 30 min

    Session 2
    Clean and jerk — singles to 6 maximum efforts
    Front squat — singles to 1-6 maximum efforts

    Afternoon - repeat morning complex

    Evening - repeat morning complex


    Tuesday
    Repeat monday's training schedule


    Wednesday
    Session 1
    Power snatch — singles to 6 maximum efforts
    Rest 30 min

    Session 2
    Power clean and jerk — singles to 6 maximum efforts
    Back squat — singles to 1-6 maximum efforts


    Thursday
    Repeat monday's training schedule


    Friday
    Repeat monday's training schedule


    Saturday
    Repeat Wednesday's training schedule


    Sunday
    Morning - less formally structured training
