backup solution for a single server

    looking for a cheap solution for backing up a single server, not just the files but an image of the drive.

    Or is it linux, BSD/unix, or solaris....?

    is Shadow Copy more or less an image of the C drive?

    shadow copy makes backup copies of the files that you can restore if you delete or save instead of save as, it will do nothing for you if your drive dies.
    Cheapest would likely be something like ntbackup and an external usb hard drive.

    web based solutions?

    i use backblaze and s3 for my person stuff but it will only backup files, not the full image.

    I'd look at Acronis TrueImage or something of that sort, personally.
