When your backpack is upright, do you organize your backpack so that your camera is near the top of the bag (around your upper back) or bottom of the bag (around your lower bag)?

I always see these style of backpacks with camera body near the top of the bag, but I suspect it'll be better balanced with the body near the bottom of the bag. Any thoughts?

I use a computrekker. main cam is stored lens down at the "top". Reason being I can just unzip partway, and pull it out without splaying the whole top open.

Second body is stored opposite, at the bottom, lens up. The entire bag is heavy enough that the balance is irrelevant.

i use a OGIO Atiba because it doesnt look like a camera bag for one. Its kind of small but i manage to bring what i need with me. I keep the body near the top so in case i slam it down on accident, theres no problems.

With your way, it's balanced until you take the camera out of the bag...

That's why the body goes on top.
