I'm looking for software that will do it for me so I don't have to go thru the mess of setting up rsync if that's possible. What I want to do is setup a schedule to upload data from my pc to my server using task scheduler or some other type of software that can already schedule it out.

you might as well just use rsync and a cronjob

Just sayin... he can backup to jungledisk and achieve the same thing + offsite backup. It has a scheduler.

Yea I have a linux server of my own I do hosting and other small stuff with it I have some files in the office I would like to just back up to the server using like task scheduler to execute a program that will just upload everything to the server. I know I can do it with rsync thought maybe there was a little easier way. I have to create ssh keys on the server and the computer so it will just connect without a password. I am amusing its like this

    rsync -avz -e ssh c:\data\folder [email protected]ess:/folder-on-server

but the key where do I store it at same directory rsync is in?
