i'm trying to make a backup of my dvd "goodfellas" and if you know it, then you know its long as crap. The dvd is made so that you watch one
half of the movie and then it tells you to flip it over to watch the 2nd half. when i use dvdshrink, it gets stuck with 3 seconds left of ripping the dvd
and i know it's because of this.

i tried to backup the first half, and then the 2nd on another disk seperately.
does anyone have any ideas on what i can do to backup this movie??

    cliffs:
    1. goodfellas dvd is double sided
    2. dvdshrink wont rip just one side at a time
    3. how do i backup this movie??

DMCA vs. Fair Use is an unsettled battle as far as I know. Given the fact that you found it necessary to mention the title of the DVD and since we all know that this isn't really for a "personal backup" ( ), I'm siding with the DMCA and locking. There are better places on the web to find this information anyway.
